Once again, Fasilkom UI performed in the final round of the 2014 ACM ICPC in the regional level. The event was held in Jakarta, Indonesia, on December 4-5, 2014. BerinGas (William Gozali, Ammar Fathin Sabil and Pusaka Kaleb Setyabudi) has been ranked the 4th followed by Fast Fourier Transform (Febry Antonius, Tjandra Sartia Gunawan and Fariskhi Vidyan) on the 8th rank and Carizad (Cakra Wisnu Wardhana, Rakina Zata Amni dan Zamil Majdy) on the 10th rank.
Besides the final round of the regional level in Jakarta, Fasilkom UI also took part in the regional ACM ICPC in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on October 31 – November 1, 2014. Fasilkom UI’s JExpicy team won the 8th rank while Fast Fourier Transform got the 11th position. The faculty also went to the regional ACM ICPC in Bangkok, Thailand, on November 12-15, 2014. Carizad won the 20th rank followed by BerinGas on the 23rd rank.
Previously, Fasilkom UI has passed the national level through the Indonesia National Contest ACM ICPC competition. BerinGas had been the 1st winner of the competition, followed by Fast Fourier Transform as the 2nd winner and JExpicy (Anthony, I Gusti Nngurah Putra Sattvika, and Aulia Astrico Pratama) as the 9th winner.
The result of ACM ICPC World Final will be announced in January 2015. The achievements won by Fasilkom UI students under the supervision of Denny, Ph.D. (Fasilkom UI Lecturer) have been the pride of Universitas Indonesia.
