A lecturer at the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Indonesia (Fasilkom UI), Betty Purwandari Ph.D., won the award for The Best British Graduate from the British government on Education UK Alumni Award this March 2016. Betty has completed her Ph.D in the field of Intelligence, Agents & Multimedia at the School of Electronics and Computer Science at University of Southampton.
In addition to her activities as a lecturer in Fasilkom UI, she also serves as the Director of Information and Technology, Universitas Indonesia. Betty Purwandari becomes the best UK alumna on the Professional Achievement category. Her winning counts from her tireless work in promoting and developing information and technology system at Universitas Indonesia.
The British government, through the British Council, gave awards for three (3) categories, namely:
- Professional Achievement Award : Betty Purwandari, Ph.D (Alumni UI dan University of Southampton)
- Entrepreneurial Award : Theresia Alit Widyasari (University of Westminster)
- Social Impact Award : Ahmad Fuadi (Royal Holloway, University of London)
