On Thursday, 30th Agustus 2018, Faculty of Computer Science Universitas Indonesia (Fasilkom UI) held a graduation ceremony for even semester academic year 2017/2018 students. As many as 253 were officially graduated by the Fasilkom UI; the graduates were from the bachelor’s (S1), master’s (S2) and doctoral (S3) programs. The ceremony was taken place in the Hotel Bumi Wiyata Auditorium, Depok.
First speech for opening the ceremony was from the Dean of Fasilkom UI, Mirna Adriani, Ph.D. and continued by a speech from a newly graduated representative Clarissa Nuralifa Mangkunegara, S. Kom and a parent’s of one of the graduates Ir. Edwin Diansantana (parent of Ibad Rahadian Saladdin, S. Kom). The event was also seated by lecturers, Fasilkom UI staff and relatives of the new graduates. In addition to that, great performances from the Binari (Dance League/Liga Tari Fasilkom UI), Penny Hutabarat and Yugo K. Isal, Year 2015, Year 2016, and Year 2017 Students.
Particularly 73 in total of bachelor’s of computer science graduates, and two graduates scored the highest GPA 3.93 with a cumlaude predicate, Joshua Casey Darian, S.Kom and Tsesar Rizqi Pradana, S.Kom. On the other hand, out of 95 graduates from bachelor’s Information System Program (S1 Reg/Par/Eks Sistem Informasi), Johanes Iman Anugrah, S.Kom came to be the holder of the highest GPA 3.92 with a cumlaude predicate. Folowing this was 11 other new graduates from bachelor’s International Program (S1 Kelas Internasional Ilmu Komputer/Double Degree program) Irsyad Nabil, S.Kom., B.Inf.Tech was the one succeeded in achieving the highest GPA 3.58 with a predicate of cumlaude.
The Fasilkom UI master’s program also inaugurated 16 new graduates of computer science program (MIK), 55 others were from Information Technology Program (MTI) and the last 3 were from doctoral program of computer science (DIK). Machmud Roby Alhamidi, M. Kom was successfully obtaining a cumlaude preadicate with 3.83 GPA from the computer science program (MIK). The MTI program, Bagus Utomo, MTI as well achieved a cumlaude predicate with a 3.9 GPA. Finally, Fasilkom UI DIK Program officially admitted Dr. Intan Nurma Yulita (GPA 3.83), Dr. Derwin Suhartono (GPA 3.72) and Dr. Sofiana Nurjanah (GPA 3.7), and all the three passed with a very satisfactory predicate.
The graduation event was finalized by a reception of graduates as new members of Fasilkom UI Alumni Association and fastening pins session of ILUNI12 by the Chair of Fasilkom UI Alumni Association (Ikatan Alumni Fasilkom UI/ILUNI12), Prihandoko, Ph.D. The entire family of Fasilkom UI dan Pusilkom UI congratulate all the Fasilkom UI new graduates (bachelor’s and post graduate programs) academic year 2017/2018 even semester.
