Sunday (1/7), Fasilkom UI held the second meeting to elect candidates of the faculty of computer science alumni association (ILUNI Fasilkom) president term 2018-2021. The event was attended by 117 Fasilkom UI alumni from all years past graduates and different computer science program backgrounds. Drs. Erwin Nurdin, M.Si (Director of Career Development and Alumni Affairs) was participating in this meeting, also attending Ir. Arief Budhy Hardono (President of ILUNI UI/alumi association), Dr. Petrus Mursanto (Vice Dean of the faculty of computer science UI) and Riri Satria, S.Kom, M.M (President of ILUNI Fasilkom UI/ 2011-2018). The event was conducted in the Auditorium Fasilkom UI Depok with a theme “Meet and Greet ILUNI Fasilkom UI.” The event scheduled in several sessions; they were the second meeting session (Musyawarah II), Sharing session: Alumni Insight, meet and greet with the ILUNI Fasilkom UI.
The first event session was the second meeting of the faculty of computer science alumni association UI (ILUNI Fasilkom). Accountability report from the current president of ILUNI Fasilkom UI was scheduled in this session also result of the new president for term 2018-2021 election. Then, it was carried on with the budget arrangement and codes of conduct of the ILUNI Fasilkom UI. The first session was summarized by the appointment and election of Prihandoko, S. Kom, MIT, Ph. D as the President of the Faculty of Computer Science Alumni Association (ILUNI Fasilkom UI) Term 2018-2021.
Sharing session and alumni insight were for the next session. Alumni who presented in this session, the ones are expert in their own fields and becoming driving force in the technology application. Those spokepersons were Yuanita Rohali ’86 (Finance Director at Bakrie Energy International Pte Ltd), Iskak Hendrawan ’95 (Chief Technology Officer at Prudential Insurance Indonesia), Michel Hamilton ’00 (Chief Transformation Officer at Rabobank Indonesia), Irvan Helmi ’00 (Co-Founder, Anomali Coffee & Pipiltin Cocoa), and Andreas Senjaya ’07 (Chief Executive Officer at iGrow Resources & Badr Interactive) and as a moderator M. Nasri ’02 (Technology Consulting Advisory at Deloitte Consulting SEA) and Dimas Ramadhani ‘11 (Co-Founder and COO, Cozora). Michel spoke on behalf of the other alumni to have expectations that the Faculty of Computer Science UI alumni as well as students would not only center themselves in technology area (programming/coding), but also go out and broaden their knowledge in other different types of disciplines. Michel stressed out that technology was not anymore sighted as supporting tools in business that this idea could actually benefit the alumni and treat it like a ‘weapon’ to change the world; all needed to do was to decide which area of interest the alumni would go for.
The halalbihalal and friendly discussions were set as the closing session for the Meet & Greet ILUNI Fasilkom UI. Alumni participants were having friendly talks and photos taken to reminisce their college time in the Fasilkom UI. Some other alumni were performing entertainment such as singing with music instrument played by Yugo K. Isal ’08.
President of ILUNI Fasilkom UI Term 2018-2021 Profile
PPrihandoko, S.Kom, MIT, Ph.D., was born in Jakarta, 26 November 1967 and successfully finished his bachelor’s study in the undergraduate program in Universitas Indonesia; he obtained his master’s title from the University of Queensland, and Doctoral degree from the University of Putra Malaysia. Currently, Prihandoko is active as a senior lecturer in Gunadarma University, and as a Vice Director in Gunadarma University Doctoral Program. In addition, Prihandoko was also listed as a National Accreditation Board for Higher Education Assessor (BAN-PT) and committee of the Indonesian Accreditation Board for Engineering Education (IABEE).
