The training for Fasilkom UI young lecturers was again held on 8-10 August 2018, in the Fasilkom Campus UI Depok. The event has an objective to equip Fasilkom UI young lecturers to develop the softskill and teaching skills.
The Vice Dean for Education, Research, and Student Affairs Fasilkom UI, Dr. Petrus Mursanto opened the event. Widijanto S Nugroho, Ph.D. was scheduled after to deliver his speech with a topic on “Ethics as Lecturer.”
Second session was by Dr. Erdefi Rakun who exposed on the topics in teaching technics. During this session, young lecturers would directly apply in practices these teaching technics. On the third day, Dr. Kasiyah Junus lectured in a subject about Student-Centered Learning and Effective Communication, OCL & EHP. Student-Centered Learning is a method metode that is recently effective in enhancing students’ quality in learning process, where students will get involved in grasping teaching materials.
One of the trainees was, Aruni Yasmin Azizah testified that, ”This training event was really helping us to be readier to teach and also as a place to consult about teaching experiences from previous semesters.”
