Prof. Heru Suhartanto is a Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science, University of Indonesia (Fasilkom UI). Joined Fasilkom UI since 1986. Previously he held several positions such as a post doctoral fellow at the Advanced Computational Modeling Center, University of Queensland, Australia in 1998 – 2000; two terms Deputy General Dean of Fasilkom UI since 2000. Graduated from the Mathematics Department of UI in 1986. He holds a Master of Science degree, from the Department of Computer Science, The University of Toronto, Canada since 1990. He also holds a Ph.D in Parallel Computing from the Department of Mathematics, The University of Queensland since 1998. His main research interests are Numerical, Parallel, Cloud and Grid computing. He is also a reviewer member of several international journals that are referred to such as Computational and Applied Mathematics journals, International Journal of Computer Mathematics, and Journal of Universal Computer Science. In addition, he has supervised several Masters and Doctoral students; he has won several research grants; holds some software copyrights; published a number of books in Indonesian and international papers in the form of proceedings and journals.
